Lynde Wolf-Gorneault

Lynde Wolf-Gorneault is a PhD candidate in Russel Poldrack’s lab in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University. Their research is focused on characterizing the cognitive and neural mechanisms that support self-control. They are particularly interested in understanding how we inhibit habitual actions that are inconsistent with new or changing goals. In addition, their work aims to draw the connections between self-control capacities and other cognitive processes, such as memory and attention. Outside of research they love fly fishing and camping with their dog Milo.
