Tyus Williams – 2025 Wonderfest Science Envoy
Tyus Williams is a PhD Candidate and NSF Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, studying how urban environments influence the ecological impacts of free-roaming domestic cats on native wildlife species. As a passionate wildlife ecologist and enthusiastic science communicator, Tyus uses his platform on social media to educate others about the fascinating world we live in. He is an avid rock climber, hiker, comic book collector, and a published author of the children’s book, A Day in the Life: Big Cats.
