Wonderfest Science Envoy 2018
Thomas Mittiga was annealed in the great furnaces of New York. This specimen exhibits a peculiar luster and versatility matched by the eclectic physics at the cusp of Atomic and Condensed Matter. It usually resides on the diamond nano-magnetometry experiment in UC Berkeley’s Yao Laboratory. Myriad applications outside the lab include swing dance, urban exploration, reading, and rock climbing.
