Micah Carroll – 2022 Wonderfest Science Envoy

Micah Carroll is a second year PhD student at UC Berkeley advised by Anca Dragan and Stuart Russell. He previously was a research intern at the Center for Human-Compatible AI (CHAI), and completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley in Statistics in 2019. His interests lie in human-AI systems: Micah’s past projects include improving AIs’ ability to collaborate and coordinate with people, and measuring user preference manipulation caused by reinforcement-learning recommender systems.
