Kayli Stowe
Kayli Stowe is a PhD candidate in the Integrative Biology department at the University of California Berkeley. She studies how the complexities of the geologic and paleontologic record impact extinction patterns and ecological structure in marine environments. The goal of this is to understand how environmental change impacts the extinction risk of marine invertebrates and how ecosystems change over time. Kayli actively participates in STEM outreach to Kâ12 and Community College students by collaborating with the University of California Museum of Paleontology and the Community Resources for Science. Outside of research, Kayli enjoys playing sports, crocheting, backpacking, and other adventures with her dog.
