Jen Holmberg

Jen Holmberg is a sixth year neuroscience PhD student at UC Berkeley, co-advised by Michael Silver and Jack Gallant. Jen is broadly interested in how the brain flexibly represents the world across different mental states, and how changes in brain representation relate to phenomenological experience. Using fMRI, naturalistic tasks, and computational models, their primary doctoral work investigates how psilocybin changes the way visual information is processed in the human brain during the acute drug experience. Outside of research, Jen likes to hang out with friends, hang out with her cat, and being outdoors.
