Calder Hilde-Jones

Calder Hilde-Jones is a PhD student in psychology at UC Berkeley. His research examines the evolution of mechanisms that allow agents to acquire information, both on their own and collaboratively. To do this, Calder works with our closest living relatives, chimpanzees. His studies explore how chimpanzees collaborate and how their information-seeking behaviors compare to human children.
